Cleaning the carrot

Carrots are often too hastily disregarded in the mainstream Spiritual and Productive paths. They are criticised as being too wobbly and far too orange for serious meditative purposes. But the Uncarved Blog would beg to differ and suggest that the humble carrot can serve as a handy reminder of the important stuff in life.

We all know that professionals in white coats and thick glasses ( and therefore wise and knowledgeable) have told us for aeons that carrots are good for the eyesight. So, anything that helps us see better and clearer is worth a little bit of wabi sabi investigation.

How to Get things Done with a Carrot.

Next time that MacbreakZ ( the time planning program) advises you of a need to pause and stretch a leg - go get a carrot and chop off the dodgy bits. Take aforementioned carrot to a window ledge, patio. garden or somewhere far away from the computer screen and chomp the narrow end first. Think of orange things and crunchy vegetable matter and only the pleasant view from your current position.

By the time you reach the chunky end, not only will you find it inedible but you will also find that you are completely relaxed and detached from the digital stress experienced just a short while ago. Now, take the hard end in your hand and consider its future. Consider your future. Compost, rubbish bin or over the neighbours wall?

An important decision with consequences for work, mental peace, town rats and neighbour relations.

Questions and Answers:
What if my view is not very pleasant?
Pleasantness is in the eye of the carrot holder.

What if I should start eating at the wrong end first?
Ask someone to point out the right end before embarking on this experiment.

Does it matter if my carrot is not orange?
What?
